Donnybrook Vets offers consultations tailored to each individual pets needs. Your pet will receive a full health check during the consult. Any concerns you have regarding your pets health will be discussed in full and a treatment plan, if required, will be made.

Getting a puppy or kitten is an extremely exciting and busy time! It is really important to have your new family member fully checked out by a Veterinary Surgeon to make sure they are fully healthy! Our pets age just like we do and unfortunately, they do so quicker than us. Pets suffer from a number of age related problems similar to humans. Arthritis is one of the most common age related problems that our pets suffer from and it’s very important to ensure your pet has a good pain management plan in place as arthritis can often go unnoticed for quite a while, with many pets suffering in silence.

Nutrition requirements change in older pets with pets often needing lower calorie diets but requiring glucosamine or other supplements in their food depending on their specific health needs. At Donnybrook Vets we understand the importance of caring for your pet as they get older, call in and chat to us and we can organise a geriatric check for your pet.
